Markley Mediation Fee for Services

My fees are negotiable.

I work primarily online with Zoom. I find with virtual Conflict Coaching and Mediation the pros significantly outweigh the cons.

My family mediation practice consists mostly of providing Conflict Coaching and Mediation services to government and non-profit organizations. This means that I serve on a dedicated roster that has set rates of compensation for my services. If your organization is a Government, First Nation or non-profit society I offer you my services at rates comparable to mediation rosters I serve on as follows:

  • Conflict Coaching: $110 per hour with a 3 hour minimum commitment.
  • Pre-mediation and Post-mediation coaching with individuals – $110 per hour.
  • Mediation in a joint session – $140 per hour with a minimum 4 hour commitment.

In a mediation I typically spend an hour or so doing pre-mediation with each party to the mediation before we all convene for a joint session. It is also good practice to follow up a successful mediation session a few weeks later with a quick post-mediation check-in with the parties. Also when I begin a mediation session and one party decides not to participate I often complete my work by offering conflict coaching to the other party or parties.

If you are interested in my training work, I conduct workshops that are structured around experiential learning utilizing role-play, real-play and case study. My workshops teach either conflict coaching, negotiation or mediation.

My rates for training are as follows:

  • 1 day workshop for a cohort of 5 learners – $980
  • 2 day workshop for a cohort of 16 learners or less – $2400
  • Preparation work for the workshop – $110 per hour.

I typically plan the workshop with you and ask you to provide me with some case scenarios pertinent to your workplace for workshop role plays and case studies.
